Plug the bootable installer into a Mac that is connected to the internet and compatible with the version of macOS you're installing. on the browser(s) in use and how they are set up.
The separate accounts for other users, where
you would also have to log-in to use the Mac,
would be a better idea overall; and then you
can limit access to the hard disk drive, and
the applications, and give them a limited access
and a few items in the Dock. And kid browsers.
This could also save you a lot of trouble should
someone decide to mess with the System or a
few of your important files on the hard drive. It
also would enhance overall security on the Mac.

The default settings of the built-in Mac OS X Firewall will not interfere with Blackboard Learn. Only if you have changed the settings on your Mac OS X Firewall, or have installed another firewall, will you need to follow the instructions below to allow Blackboard Learn access to your computer.

Lapse mac os. If you are using a firewall that is not part of the native Mac OS X operating system, you may not be able to immediately access Blackboard Learn. You should look for pop-ups from your firewall asking if you want to allow Blackboard Learn access to your computer. In this case, you should click 'Allow always' or the equivalent, which will keep the firewall from continually trying to block Blackboard Learn.
